LVOT and RVOT Linear measurements
Echocardiography Textbook
Measurement of the outflow tract of the left ventricle (LVOT) is performed from the Parasternal View, the Long Axis of the heart, in the systole phase. Measurement has to be done from the inner edge of the junction of the anterior wall of the aorta with the interventricular septum to the inner edge of the junction of the posterior wall of the aorta with the anterior leaflet of the mitral valve (0.5 -1 cm from the Ao valve in the left ventricle).

Measurement of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) is performed from the Left parasternal View, the short axis, at the level of the Aortic Valve in the systole phase, proximal of the Pulmonary Valve (0.5 -1 cm from the PA valve in the right ventricle).
