What about a little bit of theory before beginning the simulation?

 

Left Parasternal View, the Long axis. Linear measurements of the Left Ventricle Outflow Tract

 

• Run the Echocardiography Online Simulator
• Choose the Patient from the List <<Patients>>
• For the LVOT linear measurement Choose  "Parasternal Long" (Left parasternal View, the long axis of the Heart) or find the same position with 3D Transducer
• For the RVOT linear measurement Choose  "Parasternal Short Ao" (Left parasternal View, the Short axis, at the level of the Aortic Valve) or find the same position with 3D Transducer
• Click the button <<Freeze>>. to freeze image. Find frame of interest with the Slider.
• Click the button <<Line>> and perform linear measurements
